COMBO BREAKER will have a limited availability Artist Alley during our 2026 event. Tables are available inside the’s Schaumburg ballroom and foyer. Due to table space limitations not every applicant can be accepted. We will begin accepting applicants by January 19, 2026. All applicants will be replied to. All Artist Alley table locations will be randomly assigned between single and double table locations based on availability.
Please Note: Available table space may become sold out at any time after this application opens.
It is COMBO BREAKER’s hope to showcase a varied Artist Alley, with many art styles and mediums represented.
Artist Alley Details & Limitations
- Application deadline is February 6, 2025
- Artist Alley opportunities are for individual artisans wishing to showcase personally made items
- Table space is available Thursday, May 21 at 5 PM through Sunday, May 24 at 10 PM
- Eight foot table spaces with a single power strip are available. Depth of individual artist spaces may vary based on room placement with a minimum depth of 5.5 feet. Please contact us if you have larger space requirements after applying
- WiFi internet connectivity will be available for Artist Alley artisans
- Each table is reserved for 1 artist and may only represent that artist and/or that artist’s assistants
- Limitations include:
- Items cannot be commercially mass produced (Digital prints of your art, comics, or zines, as well as handmade toys or short order plush you may have worked on and/or designed are allowed)
- For sale items cannot be commercial products from a 3rd party vendor
- For sale items cannot include food or consumables
- Textile items cannot be mass produced apparel or toys
- Sexually explicit items must be bagged and/or properly censored. Your table will be removed and you will not be refunded your table fee if you fail to comply with this limitation. CB reserves the right at all times to remove objectionable material from your table’s presentation and/or inventory
- Artwork cannot include official logos, symbols, background art, or the unapproved direct tracing, vectorization, copying, photo-bashing, or alteration of works by another artist
- Metalworks that fall into the weaponry category are not permitted (Small form jewelry and collectibles are acceptable)
- All artists fulfilling commissions with media that may spill (including watercolors, acrylics, brush inks, etc.) must use a drop-cloth, plastic floor mat, or other removable floor protector
- AI produced artwork is prohibited. Any artist proven to be out of compliance with this limitation will have their table removed from the alley. No refund or recompense will be provided. Make your own art
- Each confirmed artist will be promoted on combobreaker.org
- Each confirmed artist may decorate their table area with banners, staging, or other self-supporting build-outs
- Each confirmed artist will have access to the CB2026 staff snack room
- Each confirmed artist will be featured in the CB2026 Program Guide and in appreciation posts on COMBO BREAKER social accounts
- Please note: COMBO BREAKER staff may prohibit the sale of any item, at any time, for any reason if deemed necessary. Decisions of staff are final.
Artist Alley tables at CB2026 have a $460 fee.
