LOOKING BACK AT COMBO BREAKER 2019, PRESENTED BY SAMSUNG Mobile AND SIMPLE Mobile

May 24-26, 2019 saw the fifth iteration of the COMBO BREAKER fighting game convention take over the expansive Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, Illinois, USA. The 3 day experience saw 24+ official tournaments take place alongside a seemingly endless selection of community run tournaments, special exhibitions, and casual gaming experiences. The convention reached its 4,800 pass attendee cap on Saturday, May 25; making it the first COMBO BREAKER event to sell out its preset attendee capacity. The eleven broadcasts from COMBO BREAKER 2019 reached over 2 million viewers worldwide and produced over 300 hours of live-stream entertainment.

It was a year to remember as the players and fans attending COMBO BREAKER 2019, presented by SAMSUNG Mobile and SIMPLE Mobile, helped the event continue to build a legacy in the fighting game community.
